rapture.

..so the title of this piece is purely coincidental..

i was going to leave it as untitled for the time being.. i knew what this piece represented to me.. just couldn't think of the right word(s).. that visually complemented the feeling.

and then.. all this talk about rapture.. being today.. i looked up the definition.. and one interpretation of it.. encompassed it.

rapture [rap-cher]: the act of transporting a person from one sphere of existence to another. (for me, emotionally)

yes... and inspired while listening to Comptine d'un Autre Été by Yann Tierson

..now to transfer this onto a candle.... hmmm

...first i was jogging.. then i got a vison in my head..  then i started doodling.. and this came out. i am most ecstatic with how the birds game out!

 i saw this band last summer and they have a really amazing sound..  they're voices are so distinct yet..just harmonize so well with one another... and  most importantly... they are cool cats that can chat it up.

work has been runnin' me ragged this past month.. i've been working at turbo and there seems to be no sign of reprieve any time in the near future. i'm not a fan of compromising my personal life for work... which lately has been pretty wonderful... therefore i sacrifice sleep.

*sigh*
